The one thing that makes him a little unusual is that ever since he was a child, he has turned into a volleyball in his dreams, getting hit back and forth with no way to fight back. Hoshino Ryo: Why? :) One day, as Hoshino Ryo wandered around the volleyball court, he ran into someone at school who looked awfully familiar. Hoshino Ryo: ? So the people in my dreams actually exist?? * Shiratorizawa's volleyball team recently got a new player. He's short-tempered and plays brutally, crushing players from every team. Most importantly... A certain Seijo setter: How does he know I've been practicing jump serves lately?! A certain Karasuno little sun: How does he know I've been practicing a new quick attack?! A certain Inarizaki fox: How does he know a passing habit even I don't know I have?! Everyone realizes: He must be secretly keeping an eye on me!! Hoshino Ryo: Get lost!! A certain JAPAN: Oh, you like me. Hoshino Ryo: F***, yeah. * Everyday life at Shiratorizawa: One day at practice, Hoshino Ryo wore a scowl, his aura dark and gloomy. Goshiki, being mercilessly crushed: Why me!! [Agonized.jpg] Hoshino Ryo, sent flying all night: :) The rest of the Shiratorizawa team: Phew. We survived Hoshino's wrath today, too. Protagonist: Hoshino Ryo. Pairing: Ushijima A Haikyuu!! one-shot manga Reader advisory: 1. This is a goofy, anything-goes story, not a technical volleyball story. I'll do my best with the matches. 2. The main tournament is the Interhigh. The original results of the first-year Spring High are preserved. This isn't a power fantasy, and there will be losses. It's all for the characters' growth! Later, they'll win the championship!! 3. The story focuses on matches, with little romance. What else should you do in the prime of your youth if not play volleyball? (shouting) 4. At first, the protagonist only cares about money. Later, he looks to the future. 5. He is forced to play volleyball in the first few chapters, but this is explained soon. If it bothers you, just click the top-left corner to leave. Your enjoyment comes first!! In short: You read stories to have fun.
