Lin Nuo transmigrates into a book, becoming the dragon in the picture book The Knight and the Evil Dragon.
By day, the little dragon takes human form as the empire's young prince, adored by the emperor. At night, he turns back into a dragon, a little dragon whose eyes light up at the sight of gold coins and who wants to carry them back to his treasure cave and rub them all over.

Then one day, his transformation spell fails completely.
Before anyone can discover the truth, Lin Nuo flees in the middle of the night. He huddles atop a pile of gold coins, trembling and praying the knight won't find him.
But the knight still storms into the treasure cave.
On the knight's first day in the cave, Lin Nuo breathes fire at him.
Raine blocks the dragonfire, then offers Lin Nuo a piece of chocolate.
Lin Nuo: ...It must be poisoned!
On the second day, Lin Nuo snarls and waves his claws around.
Raine strokes his dragon claws, then presents him with a rose.
Lin Nuo: ...The petals must be coated in anesthetic!
On the third day, with no other options, Lin Nuo reluctantly scrapes up a gold coin and asks in a trembling voice:
