[The King's Avatar] Black Goat's Love Story

A love story between human Ye Xiu and human Miele.

Warning 1 before you start: This story completely flips the usual dynamic. It's not a story about Ye Xiu pursuing someone; it's a story about someone pursuing Ye Xiu!

The female lead isn't pursuing Ye Xiu. Ye Xiu is pursuing her. Warning complete.

Warning 2 before you start: The female lead is cute, but she's crazy. Not cute-crazy, but genuinely crazy. There are deeper reasons for it, but she's still just plain crazy. It's her nature.

Warning 3 before you start: This is not a typical esports novel. Although the first half is about esports, the second half involves things like the end of the world and awakened supernatural abilities. There may even be a plot where Ye Xiu really gets his hands on the Thousand Chance Umbrella.

If you're fine with all that, welcome, and enjoy reading.

The cover features Snakebite Yumeko from Kakegurui, another cute crazy woman. The female lead is somewhat like her, but not entirely.

There's a new story next door, The Oddball Detective. This one's shorter, hopefully no more than 200,000 characters.

It's probably a breezy summer story. I really want to write a horror AU!

The female lead is still Miele, but this time she returns to her identity as the boss.

The inspiration probably came from a scene that appeared in my mind: Ye Xiu carrying a battered oil-paper umbrella plastered with talismans, wandering around the city and living in a little attic rented to him at a discount because he helped someone out, where he opens a tiny paranormal detective agency.

I thought that scene suited him, so I wrote it.

Theme: I want to fall in sweet, sweet love
