[Lord of the Mysteries] What Canon? I'm an MMO Player Who's Never Read It!

You can't trust a single word from game publishers. They promised 22 Paths of the Divine, but when I logged in, only six classes were available. They promised a perfect recreation of the original, but the moment I landed, an NPC grabbed me by the head and insisted I was family. They promised an immersive VR experience, but I can't even bring up the menu. The one thing I can be grateful for is Nobody on the new server had claimed my ID, so I created a stunningly beautiful daughter of my own. Then I discovered I'd transmigrated into the East District of Backlund, as the long-lost daughter of a slum family. My class is "Apprentice," and my weapon is a key bigger than I am. Oh, right. I also created a male character in the "error" pathway they claimed was compensation. He's still sitting on the login screen. ...When are they going to fix this lousy game? * 1. A power fantasy about the Fourth Calamity, with some secret identity elements. The main story is in third person. Click in and watch a Sequence 9 Apprentice show off, reach straight for the stars, and torment everyone (...) 2. Some romance-game elements, with a few one-sided crushes. The player may sometimes seem a little too focused on romance, because she dotes on the game characters, but in essence she looks down on everything from a lofty position. Guaranteed satisfaction. 3. No outline. I threw this blurb together, and I'm just writing what I want for fun. My day job is busy, so updates are irregular. Theme: Be a good person
