Fragile, sickly beauty bottom x mad-dog, unhinged top
Top scorer in all three imperial examinations, a heaven-blessed genius.
When Shen Wangyue rode past the capital's flower-lined streets, he thought this was the most glorious moment of his life. Then that night, Fu Peiying, commander of the Qingdeng Guards, arrived with an imperial order to execute the entire Shen household. Flames blazed into the sky.
Shen Wangyue watched with his own eyes as more than a hundred members of the Shen household died before him. He couldn't even recover his parents' bodies.
He fled all the way to a frontier town in the northwest.
Years later, Fu Peiying was posted to a garrison in the northwest.
The two met again at a banquet for the most celebrated courtesan.
Fu Peiying sat in the place of honor, surrounded by people. He watched the scantily clad Western Regions dancers in the lake with cold eyes. Someone beside him ingratiated themselves by asking, "Shall we send one to your room, Commander?"
Fu Peiying's deep, icy eyes showed not the slightest trace of desire. He gave a slight nod.
With the tent curtains hanging low, they brushed cheeks and temples together. A sharp blade pressed against Fu Peiying's neck.
Shen Wangyue gave a flirtatious smile and asked lightly, "Commander, do you still remember me?"
Fu Peiying called softly, "Yueya'er."
Nobody knew that the two had known each other since childhood. They acted like sworn enemies, but had actually grown up hand in hand, close enough to share a pair of pants.
Fu Peiying recognized his childhood classmate from his features at a single glance.
They knew each other so well that Fu Peiying could feel Shen Wangyue's body trembling. He grabbed the blade and pushed it into his own flesh, his voice devoid of warmth. "You're still the same. You find it easy to soften your heart."
The scent of blood filled the air. Shen Wangyue bit Fu Peiying's shoulder. "I won't let you die so easily."
After days of torment, Fu Peiying was nearly at death's door, but still granted every one of Shen Wangyue's requests. Shen Wangyue was unwilling, but had no choice but to cooperate for the time being if he wanted to escape his life in the brothel.
Until one day, Shen Wangyue's love curse took effect. His body went limp, hot as water, and he gritted out, "Fu Peiying."
Shen Wangyue burned all over. "Help me."
P.S. A small crematorium arc, both are virgins, slow burn. There's not much of an age gap, but it's still an older-top, younger-bottom pairing.
Pre-release announcement for the historical fantasy cultivation novel The Immortal Venerable Proves His Dao Through Marriage. Please add it to your library!
After the Heavenly Dao fell, the celestial realm declined, demons and ghosts ran rampant, and people cried out in misery.
Shen Jueling resolved to fight violence with violence. He personally opened the seal on the demon realm, releasing Lu Yan, the Demon Venerable who could destroy heaven and earth.
He had assumed that the Demon Venerable's first act after returning to the world would be to wipe out the demons and ghosts and establish the might of the demon race.
But when Shen Jueling saw that gloomy man beyond the Ninth Heaven, he realized he had done something incredibly stupid.
·
Rumor had it that the Demon Venerable Lu Yan was a sinister, ruthless madman who killed without hesitation and had cut off all ties to love, with no trace of humanity left. Just as he was about to trample the celestial realm, the Heavenly Venerable ordered Juelingzi to emerge from seclusion.
Shen Jueling was an ancient powerhouse. Rumor had it that his Sealing Spirit Sword could split the entire Infinite Hell with a single strike. But his spiritual power had been damaged three hundred years ago, forcing him into seclusion ever since.
The Demon Venerable's oppressive aura weighed on the Ninth Heaven. Juelingzi stood alone before the heavenly gate, holding his broken Sealing Spirit Sword. His white robes fluttered, his dark hair danced in the wind, and he was as cool and pure as snow.
The immortals placed their hopes in Shen Jueling, believing he could turn the tide.
In reality, Shen Jueling could tell his spiritual power was even weaker than a little immortal who swept the floors. Looking at his younger disciples, weeping and wailing, he said that he couldn't even guarantee his own safety.
Then he tossed his sword aside: I'm going to lie flat!
·
Shen Jueling was captured. The immortals were terrified, convinced that Juelingzi had become a furnace and been drained dry by the Demon Venerable.
Not long after, they discovered that this usually slender immortal venerable had gained a great deal of weight. Round and plump, he reclined in an eight-bearer palanquin adorned with gold and silver, eating grapes and commenting on the Demon Venerable's monster-fighting moves.
The immortals nervously asked, "Are you feeling all right, sir?"
Shen Jueling furrowed his embroidered brows and covered his belly. "...Not really. The baby's coming soon."
A lazy immortal venerable bottom who just wants to lie down and let you do whatever you want
