He is the young leader of the Tiek Alliance in the Iron Dimension, able to see through every mystery of past and future, at home and abroad. In everyone's eyes, he is a godlike being.
But once he drops his facade, he is simply a selfish guy who loves telling corny jokes, eating, and having fun, yet is deeply devoted.
He gives all his selfishness and devotion to the childhood companion he lost long ago. To find her, he became a god to everyone.
When he finally finds her, he discovers that their love has long since lost its original shape.
He is the captain of Dongchengwei, the premier elite battle unit of the Tiek Alliance in the Iron Dimension. Mature and dependable, he is the most reliable guardian of the Iron Dimension.
He rejects love. “I play the qin, I don't talk about love” is his creed.
Yet fate makes him meet the most extraordinary “him,” allowing him to experience love's most profound truth.
She has come from far away, ordered to take over as captain of Nanchengwei, an elite battle unit of the Tiek Alliance. She comes both to fulfill a promise and to find another version of herself.
When she finally achieves her longtime wish, she discovers she is caught in an impossible dilemma.
If she moves forward, she and her beloved may be together at last. If she retreats, she will be utterly destroyed, with no way back. What will she choose?
This is a story of pain and joy.
On the long road of life, what joys and sorrows, loves and entanglements, and heart-pounding experiences await them?
This work is a sequel to The X-Family and a prequel continuing on from The Ultimate Three Kingdoms 2009.
It mainly follows the tangled love and hate between Jiu Wu, Xiu, and their respective partners. If you like Xiu and Jiu Wu, come take a look.
The main story has a tragic ending, one that will leave a lasting impression.
////////////////////////////////// The extras have a happy ending, so the blurb is for the main story.
This work is a companion piece to my completed fanfiction The Rain Prince Meets the Ice Princess. Its main characters are Ding Xiaoyu and Leng Hanbing. You can read the two long novels together or enjoy this one on its own.
The completed The Grim Reaper's Prophecy is a prequel to The X-Family and to this story, Bloodshed: End of Sorrow. It follows the illusionist Water Spirit Jing as she investigates the mysterious disappearances and deaths of students and teachers at Hongqiu Arts High School. Jiu Wu makes a guest appearance. If you're interested, go check it out.
The bonus story in the Ultimate Ability Users series, Love Across the Four Seasons, is complete. It tells the story of Leng Hanbing in another dimension. What would happen if Dong, Ru, Zun, and Lin all fell in love with the same girl, Leng Hanbing? Take a look and find out.
The prequel story in the Ultimate Ability Users series, The Castaway Princess's Adventure, tells the story of the Iron Dimension cast in their previous lives. It is being updated irregularly, so feel free to come and read.
You can find all the novels above in my profile by clicking on the author name, Diexue Suifeng.
Theme: Everything happens for the best.
In the supernatural arena, I see the emotions and sorrows of all living beings - Thoughts after reading "Death of Blood·Stop the Sorrow"
When I first read "Dead Blood·Stop the Sorrow", I originally came here for the feelings of the "Ultimate Family" IP, but I didn't expect that the wind and blood, love and regret of Tie Shikong would firmly capture my mood. This sequel does not indulge in the halo of the original work. Instead, it uses more delicate brushstrokes to cut open the flesh and soul of a group of "guardians" under the shell of supernatural combat.
The most poignant thing is never the gorgeous superpower showdown, but the "imperfections" of the characters hidden under the powerful shell. Moxibustion Dance is regarded by everyone as a "god with insight into the past and present", but he can't sleep because of Han Bing who can't find his childhood. In the days when he loses his sense of taste, he will secretly feel sad because he can't drink the bitterness of coffee. His "godhead" and "humanity" are always in tension. This contradiction makes him no longer a floating leader symbol, but a young man who can feel pain and miss the past. Xiu's creed of "only playing the piano, not talking about love" was originally thought to be a cold-blooded persistence, but until Jing appeared with the melody of "Love Enough", I saw his restrained heartbeat: he would run to help Jing find her sister, and would lose control when she was in danger. This "breaking the precept" tenderness is more moving than the sound of Tojo Mamoru's guitar.
The emotions in the book are never simply "sweet" or "sad", but as complex as the magnetic field of iron time and space. The encounter between Jing and Xiu was a match of "a close friend meets a close friend", but they were always pushed away by fate: she shouldered the responsibility of Nancheng Guard, and he shouldered the mission of guarding time and space. Even confessions had to be hidden in work conversations through the power of "transmitting sound into secrets" - this restrained love was more precious than straightforward sweetness. Later, when Jing died on the battlefield, Xiu's tearful words "So you want to come back alive to chase me" became a thorn in his heart. The entanglement between Moxibustion Wu and Han Bing is even more fatalistic. From the longing for childhood separation to the pull of "betrayal and redemption" after reunion, their love is wrapped in too much helplessness: Han Bing's "defection" is not a simple evil, and Moxibustion Wu's "forgiveness" is not an easy compromise. This complexity makes the emotion break away from the clichés of black and white and add a bit more weight to reality.
The BE ending of the main text made me put it on hold for a long time, not daring to read on. The moment Jingzhan died, the wind in Iron Time and Space seemed to have stopped - the girl who came for her promise and ran for her sister finally fell on the battlefield of Guardian without even saying a complete confession. But it is this "unsatisfaction" that gives the story a profound power: it does not give the characters a "golden finger", nor does it let love take precedence over responsibility. Instead, it allows us to see that the price of protection is never a slogan, but that someone has to bury regrets in time for the sake of peace. Fortunately, the happy reunion in the extra chapter gave this regret a gentle outlet: Jing was reborn and returned to meet Moxi Wu and Han Bing again. Moxi Wu and Han Bing untied the knot of the past. Those fragments that were broken in the main text were finally put together into a perfect appearance in the extra chapter. This "first suppression and then expansion" design not only retains the depth of the story, but also gives readers a spiritual comfort.
When I closed the book, I remembered the sentence "Everything is the best arrangement" in the book. At first I thought it was a comfort, but later I realized that this "best" is not that there are no regrets, but that the characters still choose to protect despite regrets, and still retain the courage to love despite pain. The story of Tie Shikong has come to an end, but Moxibustion Dance's cold jokes, Xiu's guitar sound, and Jing's persistence still seem to be echoing in our ears. This is probably the power of a good derivative work: it not only captures the feelings of the original work, but also goes its own way, allowing us to see the most authentic feelings and sorrows of all living beings in the supernatural world.
If you have also loved the passion of "The Ultimate Family", or prefer "painful and tender" stories, you might as well open this book - it will take you back to the iron time and space, and also let you see your own love and responsibility in the characters' stories.
The update speed has been slowing down recently, but I can't help it. Chapter 80 was updated today, but it never passed the review.
I sent it four times but never received it! Why? Is it so difficult to eat something meaty?
Woohoo┭┮┭┮, the content of the recent update is relatively sensitive, so the article will be revised and reviewed multiple times.
Guys, give me some encouragement!
Keep up the good work, keep up the good work
Even if no one is watching, persist
It's not like the two sisters like the same person.
I feel like there are a lot of settings that I didn't understand at the moment, but I will look at them when I have time. Go to sleep!
Can you please not let Xiu and Xiao hope be together? After all, they are already doing nothing with Jing. I still like Jing and Xiu.
I haven't watched The Ultimates. I'd like to ask the author. Doesn't it affect my viewing?

Come on, maybe if the title of the novel is "Ultimate Family", more people will read it!
