Everyone carries someone deep in their heart. Though that person does not exist, no one in reality can take their place. The frightening thing about love is not a rival in the real world, but a rival who does not exist at all.

Leng Xiaoxiao is a girl who loves writing novels and collecting all kinds of glassware. She adores daydreaming and always lives in her own world, pursuing what she wants. She searches for that elusive feeling, and so, deep in her subconscious, she creates a boy named Bai Xiaobai who does not exist. He is nothing but a figment of her imagination.
