"Where Do the Butterflies That Leave in Winter Land?"
Shen Chenjun had lived in an orphanage for as long as he could remember.
He spent four years side by side with Jiang Zhiheng, the old director's grandson.
For a while, the two young boys made the orphanage a complete madhouse.
Jiang Zhiheng was the one who caused trouble, while Shen Chenjun kept an eye on him to make sure he didn't tear the orphanage apart.
When Shen Chenjun was ten, he was adopted and went abroad with his new parents. He never saw Jiang Zhiheng again.
That is, until he was twenty-seven. The magazine he worked for merged with a well-known entertainment company, and on his first day there as editor in chief, he met his direct supervisor, the company's CEO.
Shen Chenjun: "Long time no see."
Jiang Zhiheng: "I'm impressed you still remember me, Editor Shen. I'm just an insignificant old acquaintance, after all."
Shen Chenjun: Why does he sound so bitter...?
Jiang Zhiheng was a little menace, always bouncing around and stirring up trouble.
He turned an otherwise perfectly good orphanage into a total mess.
By day, he stole birds' eggs and gave his grandfather grief. At night, he caught crickets and put them in people's beds.
He made it to the age of eight only because his grandfather and Shen Chenjun were always cleaning up after him.
But Shen Chenjun left for another country without a word.
Eight-year-old Jiang Zhiheng was so angry that he swore he would never speak to him again.
That was until, not long after starting his first year of high school, he saw Shen Chenjun, now a sophomore, at a math competition.
Calm and reserved, kind to everyone, gentle as jade, and a top student. He was every bit the heaven-blessed prodigy.
And then Jiang Zhiheng realized he'd fallen for him, completely and utterly.

One-on-one, happy ending, mutual pining, reunion after years apart
* The top is two years older than the bottom. Anything involving work or specialized topics is made up, so please don't take it too seriously. The story leans bittersweet, and probably won't be very long.
* The bottom returned to China during his sophomore year of high school, but the orphanage had already been demolished, so he couldn't find the top. They attended different campuses in high school, so they didn't meet before the math competition.
* When they reunite, the top is twenty-five, and the bottom is two months shy of twenty-seven.
I'll consider whether to flesh out the details when I start drafting, but the overall story won't change much~
