A four-year-old boy becomes paralyzed in the legs due to an illness. When he's ten, a cheerful boy enters his heart. "Let me be your friend, okay?" The boy speaks with warmth and sincerity. He doesn't look down on Zhang Zhe for his disability. To make it easier to care for him, he moves into Zhang Zhe's home, with Zhang Zhe always in his thoughts and heart. At fourteen, the boy falls in love with him. Because of the boy, Zhang Zhe skips grades, gets into the high school he attends, and then gets into the university they promised each other they would attend. At twenty, the boy confesses to Zhang Zhe and is rejected. The more he misses him, the more heartbroken he becomes. Because Zhang Zhe lacks confidence, he believes that anyone who loves him will end up suffering because of him. He thinks he isn't worthy of being loved. But the boy waits for him for a year, and in the end, his devotion isn't in vain. Zhang Zhe overcomes his inner barriers and bravely pursues the happiness that belongs to him.
There are sweet parts and angsty parts. I don't think I wrote the angst very well; it never feels angsty enough. For the sweet parts, I draw on things that could happen in everyday life, so they feel fairly down-to-earth.
The side couple is sweet too.
The Zhang Zhe I wrote is rather heartless. Xu Binyang always makes decisions before telling him, but they understand each other, so please don't mind it too much. I'll do my best to make the story longer, because our protagonists have shared so much time. One or two events can't tell it all, so I'll work hard.
Theme: Love is what made me write this
Come on! I believe you can do it
