The Wu Family Daughter-in-Law of the 1980s Compound

The Wu family has three sons. The eldest is the director of a liquor factory, and his wife is the only daughter of the old factory's owner. The second son manages a department store, and his wife is the daughter of a middle school principal.

The youngest, Wu Siyi, is the only one who doesn't like studying. He dropped out early, refuses to take any job his family finds for him, and is hardly ever home.

He has gone on countless blind dates. Either the women reject him because he has no job, or he doesn't like them. That is, until he meets Jin Yuanbao, a girl with immense strength who knocks him flat. He immediately sets his heart on marrying her.

Raised by her grandfather, Jin Yuanbao agrees to marry him because she thinks he's handsome.

The entire Wu family lives together. After the wedding, Jin Yuanbao has to deal not only with a mother-in-law who dislikes her, but also with two sarcastic sisters-in-law. Even so, she settles into her life and enjoys herself every day, running a few side businesses along the way. In the end, she earns no less than Wu Siyi, who has become a business tycoon.
