My Fiancée Is a Demon Lord

Pei Zishu was once a dreaded archfiend in the cultivation world, but fell at the hands of Jing Heng, a prodigy of the immortal sects.

Only after his death did he learn that he was a cannon-fodder character in a storybook, a stepping stone on the protagonist's path to greatness!

Reborn in a new life, the archfiend Pei Zishu becomes the eldest daughter of the Baili family in Tianyu City, as well as the fiancee of Jing Heng, the immortal-sect prodigy who had sent him to his grave in his previous life.

Feeling a body no different from the one he had before and seeing his stunning beauty reflected in the mirror, he threw back his head and laughed, already hatching a plan.

Jing Heng thinks his fiancee has changed. She's become even more timid and fragile, and every time they go on a mission together, she screams and causes all kinds of accidents.

To protect his fiancee, he begins training hard, striving to become stronger.

Then one day, passing by the back mountain, he sees with his own eyes his usually gentle, fragile fiancee beat the lecher who had harassed her nearly to death. Jing Heng's rose-colored glasses... shatter.

Bonus scene:

After Pei Zishu's identity is exposed, Jing Heng breaks off his engagement with the Baili family. The other families rush to offer their daughters to Jing Heng.

One day, Jing Heng meets a young lady from a prominent family at a teahouse. Pei Zishu suddenly appears in women's clothes, clutches Jing Heng's sleeve, and sobs pitifully, occasionally brushing a hand over his stomach.

The young lady: "Pah, you scumbag!"

Jing Heng: "???"

The next day, Jing Heng meets a female disciple of a sword sect at a restaurant. Pei Zishu appears again, handsome and dashing in men's clothes, and strikes up a lively conversation with the disciple. The two immediately hit it off.

When she learns that her new friend likes Jing Heng, the female sword-sect disciple leaves with a flourish, wishing them well and hoping they'll soon become cultivation partners.

Jing Heng: "…"

The third time, Jing Heng waits with a completely blank expression to see what new trick Pei Zishu will try. He never expects Pei Zishu to bundle him up and take him straight back to the city lord's residence!

After one night, the entire city lord's residence echoes with someone's furious cursing.
