The fake big shot is the real deal!
After watching a movie and getting thoroughly annoyed, Dami falls asleep and wakes up inside the soft sci-fi film he just watched, Virtual Realm War God. The character he's become isn't just a supporting role, but a cross-dressing villain who has also stolen someone else's identity.
The movie is about how the virtual world isn't actually virtual, and the male and female leads are working to expose the truth.
Dami didn't like the movie. The only reason he managed to sit through the whole thing was to find out whether Chen Shuang, the supporting character he cared about so much, would get a happy ending.
Who could have guessed that Chen Shuang would be repeatedly set up by the male lead, his adopted son, and then killed by the leads in the end? His death was both tragic and bitterly unfair.
Now that Dami is here, and has grown fond of this world's Chen Shuang, of course he wants to help him escape the leads' constant schemes and avoid his gruesome death down the line.
If possible, he doesn't want to go up against the male and female leads, the children of destiny. But the problem is, they won't leave him alone...
