Sweet Star [Entertainment Industry]

After entering the entertainment industry, Xie Xingyi shot to fame as a pretty face, becoming a top-tier star on looks alone.

As a beauty-obsessed woman who was gorgeous herself, she initially wanted to become a master at keeping men on the hook, just like her best friend. But while expanding her pond, she successively ran into a real player, a gold-digging mama's boy, and... her guy best friend. The "aspiring player" gradually turned into a carefree little fairy, until she met Fu Wensheng.

Fu Wensheng, a top-tier star and award-winning Best Actor, had the looks and physique to make anyone blush. And the best part? He never kept a roster of women!

A photo of the two sharing a frame at the Golden Dove Awards leaked.

The Shengxing ship exploded in popularity overnight.

The solo fans on both sides weighed in: "Shengxing? Even dogs wouldn't ship that."

Then the stars themselves proved their fans wrong in record time. Fu Wensheng came down from his pedestal to star in a TV drama, with Xie Xingyi as his first female lead. Their chemistry crackled onscreen, and rumors flew offscreen.

The Shengxing ship had become the biggest one around.

But after the drama finished airing, the two had no further contact.

Rumors that Shengxing had been fake-dating and then broken up spread like wildfire.

The shippers angrily accused both fanbases of laying the groundwork in advance and manufacturing sugary fluff to promote their collaboration.

Not long afterward, paparazzi unexpectedly caught Fu Wensheng entering Xie Xingyi's van. When he came out, there was a red mark on his lips.

Both stars' solo fans and the shippers were in an uproar.

The next day, Xie Xingyi was hit with a flood of scandals, and rumors that she'd gotten her opportunities by relying on a sugar daddy spread everywhere.

Fu Wensheng posted a clarification: "New persona: Xie Xingyi's sugar daddy."

#When you're chasing me, my ears and my heart are both on your side#

#The pairing I shipped as a joke actually came true!#

The ongoing novel "Lin Xiaodao's Summer" is currently updating.
