In a parallel world, gods, demons, and humans live in three separate realms. Su Yu, a mischievous imperial daughter who proclaims herself the world's greatest and most righteous god, and Si Yi, the powerful King of the Underworld, cool and aloof to outsiders but lively and gentle with those close to him, stumble upon the Demon Queen's scheme while investigating a case in the mortal realm. Behind the case lie all kinds of tangled human relationships. Beneath what seems sincere, so much hypocrisy is hidden, and these feelings, impossible to measure as right or wrong, invite deep reflection. That's not all. After they return to Heaven, a series of events brings to light the love and hate between the previous generation of the Heavenly Emperor and Empress. Emotions that seem simple end up having unexpected consequences. These feelings look so beautiful on the surface, yet what lies beneath is completely different. Every class has its own feelings, like a play, hypocritical yet beautiful. Amid these muddied emotions, someone is sure to hold on to that original beauty and innocence.
