Ulaanbaatar is the first novel I followed. I feel that it has a kind of reality and helplessness that does not belong to Jinjiang. Love is not the most important. Apart from love, there are many things to pursue. I feel that everyone is vivid with flesh and blood. The past is like smoke. So many important people are gone or gone, but you still have Li Weilong, you still have Tongtong, and Chen Dongshi. Go boldly and don't look back.

In modern society, people wear masks to live, and it is difficult to have ultimate love and hate. 2024/10/30 Finished and opened the flowers and a little bit of feelings I read about Amway elsewhere, and I was attracted by the copywriting alone. When I opened the article, I was really surprised. The author's writing style is like a breath of fresh air, and the content of the novel is capable and smooth. He uses the most concise sentences to describe the emotions, actions, and environment constructed. The cold night in Ulaanbaatar, the snow in Harbin, a somewhat gray and honest man and a woman with a hot temper just appeared on the page. Of course, there is also the important one, the police who did not show up. Because of the teacher's writing style, I was immersed in it almost instantly, following the ups and downs of Chen Dongshi's perspective and his mood. Then I seemed to become Chen Dongshi, eager to find a lame man wearing a jade pendant, longing for him to crawl out of the grave of death and come alive to me. Li Weilong, it would be a shame to die, and it would be a shame not to die. Watching the prisoner's distorted explanation of how to kill him, and watching Chen Dongshi crawling in front of Liang Ze and crying, the strong emotions composed of those words broke into my heart. I was sweating profusely and wiping tears from my eyes. I think good people like Chen Dongshi should live well, and heroes like Li Weilong should live well. I particularly like the teacher's metaphors, such as iron trees, facehuggers, and mushrooms. These are all very pictographic. I can immediately imagine the state and appearance of the characters at that time. I think it is very difficult to write the language of the work in a concise and smooth way, but the teacher did it, and captured people into this novel world at once, and the readers seemed to experience everything firsthand. The parts about pain and loss are really well written, without any pretentiousness. I felt that the first twenty chapters were really exciting. The plot had continuous ups and downs and kept the reader's mood. While I was reading it, I was very eager for Li Weilong to come back. He finally relaxed after holding his breath until the police officer finally revealed his identity from God's perspective. In terms of the plot, I feel like it's a high-pitched and low-end game, and I'm really sorry. It was enjoyable to watch in the early stage, but in the middle and late stages, it no longer had the same compactness and naturalness as in the early stage. The characters are a bit fragmented. The actions and confrontations between the black and white sides are basically not written. It is also impossible to see what the police have planned. The identity of the undercover was exposed too early. The evidence was also provided by the villain and self-destructed. It felt too thin. Many of the things the characters did were omitted, and they only focused on their feelings, resulting in the inability to have much empathy for the feelings displayed by the characters later on. Chen Bin did not write about the specific process of his drug trafficking and difficult life. When watching it, I just felt that he was in and out of the bureau, and then died. The role of Xu Li was well created, but she pretended to be innocent to gain trust. Similar plots were repeated over and over again, and in the end I just wanted to skip it. There is not much explanation about Li Weilong's undercover experience. Although we know that he was an undercover policeman and suffered a lot, there are no more facts to heighten the emotion. Moreover, the identity of a drug police officer gives people the impression that he will be a tough, flexible, and full of justice image, especially an undercover police officer. Li Weilong has experienced a lot of suffering, including the sacrifice of his comrades and the great pain he himself suffered. I thought he came back because he was eager to destroy the drug cartel. But his behavior made me feel very childish and young, not like a thirty-year-old undercover policeman, but like a green melon egg who had just entered society and had just become a police officer. Although he knew that Xu Li had a problem, he never thought about keeping an eye on her or keeping the victim out of his sight. Instead, he went to the corridor to smoke out of jealousy and other emotions. He didn't seem to have the mentality of "I want to protect the people." Moreover, he still regarded Xiao Nan as his sister, but he took no effective action at all. He ran to have two basically meaningless confrontations with Xu Li, and only got one piece of valid information that his identity was exposed. In both confrontations, he was completely at a disadvantage, unlike a veteran police officer with experience in anti-narcotics criminal investigation. Especially towards Xu Lihou, he felt helpless and timid. The feeling I felt from holding on to Xu Li was that I was jealous rather than obsessed with the truth. In the early stage, there seemed to be too much description of Liang Ze and Li Weilong's jealousy. In the end, I only remembered that he was jealous because of various things, his own righteousness to participate in the action, and his sense of justice as a police officer. There was almost no real plot, which led to a sense of loss for this character in the end.
After reading it, this book has been sitting on my bookshelf since it was never serialized. I waited until it was finished before reading it. The author's writing is really very good. It has a very realistic movie feel. The desolation is really heart-wrenching. It is the helplessness and misery of ordinary people. Xu Li hates her so much but still feels sorry for her. When I see it later, I hold my breath for Dongzi. Later Dongzi chooses to take Tongtong away and it goes smoothly. There is nothing unreasonable. I really like it. I have watched Da Da Hong Fu Ye Ben before. Maybe it was a bit too miserable. So sad, I really want to hug Chen Dongshi. The author is too cruel and rational, and did not give him any golden fingers, halo or the like. His love with Li Weilong is like a luxurious condiment. Fortunately, the ending is quite satisfying. In the end, Dongzi did not find the cow in his childhood, his mother would not be brought back to life, Li Weilong's leg was not healed, and those comrades could not be resurrected.
