After the Global Mutation, I'm in Charge of Monitoring My Nemesis

In 3036, the world underwent a global upheaval, and all kinds of bizarre species invaded the genetic system.

The good news:

Lu Hes's nemesis, Pei Senke, couldn't withstand the mutagen and exploded.

Lu Hes: Yes! You little loser! No one's going to bother me ever again!

The bad news:

A small fragment of his nemesis stuck to his clothes and started growing wildly in the flowerpot at home!

Lu Hes: Oh no!

Research Institute Director: You two knew each other pretty well. Xiao Lu, write the monitoring logs. You were always at each other's throats, so he probably won't be interested in eating you.

Lu Hes: ...

Monitoring Cycle One: Pei Senke can only grow if watered with premium milk.

Lu Hes: What a picky little thing! Even after mutating, you're still going to bankrupt me with your appetite!

Monitoring Cycle Two: The vines are thick and vigorous. Needs at least eight hours of playtime and interaction every day, or it may become violent.

Lu Hes: What a handful! Don't wreck my house!

Monitoring Cycle Three: A human shape is beginning to emerge. Its physical characteristics and appearance match Pei Senke's. Its condition is childlike, with no memories...

Lu Hes: Childlike with no memories? *smirks*

He introduced himself: I've worked myself to the bone raising you, so you should call me Dad.

Pei Senke: ...

Monitoring Cycle Four: Pei Senke can survive outside the soil and attach itself to a person.

Lu Hes: ? What a clingy little thing...

Monitoring Cycle Five: Pei Senke can walk on its own. It is still childlike, but restless, and can speak now, still while brushing against his ear!

Pei Senke: Scent... close... love...

Lu Hes: !!!

(He tears Pei Senke off himself) (Rips up the monitoring report) (Runs out of the house and turns into a mutant)

Who can do research without going crazy!
