His kiss was too fierce.
His eyes held a sick, obsessive devotion. "Then be good and don't leave me, okay?"

Later, his possessiveness and need for control grew ever stronger, to the point that she could barely stand it.
She said, "How are you any different from a pervert?"
"I just love you. What have I done wrong?"
He kept forcing her to say she loved him again and again, with tears in her voice.
He wanted her to be unable to leave him, to love only him and care only about him for the rest of her life.
