Crime

In the corners of street alleys, insects crawl slowly through the sewers and into office buildings, where they turn into one hurried person after another. Children are born with unique colors, which are extracted and used to fill the world's palette. In a dazzling universe, all the creatures called "people" are gray and black. Those who carry other colors are criticized and condemned until they lose the last of their color. Spiders weave webs at street corners, and crimes flourish in the shadows. A seed grows slowly, hidden from the light yet surrounded by it. Its heart is torn between longing for the light and an instinctive fear of it. No one knows how long its color will remain, but one day a dazzling beam of light will reveal it to the world, allowing it to exist as its true self.
