If Amon Had Humanity

The story of Yalfeis and Amon in the Third Epoch.

After finishing Lord of the Mysteries, I wanted to write something fun.

Harass Amon for ten thousand years.

Leave me alone. I just want to mess with Amon!

That's what he gets for bullying my cat!

There are lots of Amons. If you need to disinfect, shout Leodero.

Time: The Third Epoch.

Yalfeis: “Keeping a pet is good for maintaining your humanity.”

“Hmm... though I don't know who said that.”

Amon: “Interesting.”

“How did you think of feeding ravens Time Worms?”

Yalfeis: “Aren't birds supposed to eat bugs?”

“Is that really an interesting question?”

Amon: “To be honest, it is.”

“You should be able to tell they're the same kind of creature.”

“He looks like a bird and feels like a bird, so you can keep him as a bird?”

“But he really isn't a bird.”

Yalfeis: “Why not?”

Amon: “You wear a monocle, and I wear a monocle. You have black hair, and I have black hair. Does that mean you could be me?”

Yalfeis: “I suppose so...”
