My Summoned Beast Is a Human Player

Torrential rain swept across the globe without warning. By the next morning, all things had come back to life.

Plants and animals evolved and vied with humanity for supremacy. Fortunately, humans awakened abilities of their own, too.

Awakened humans could summon beasts to fight alongside them. Most were fierce animals, capable of contending with the evolved plants and animals.

Their summons included mighty lions and tigers, while the more powerful could summon prehistoric beasts.

As she fled, Ye Xue set her baby-fat cheeks and clenched her little fists, vowing to summon a Tyrannosaurus rex.

She never expected to be bound to something calling itself the Myriad Worlds Game System, which told her she could summon human players from other worlds.

Ye Xue: ??? Human players? What are those? Are you sure they won't get slapped to death by an evolved tiger?

Human players: Charge! Kill the Tyrannosaurus! Protect our cute little creature... Don't leave any of its teeth, hide, or meat behind.

.

A fully immersive game, touted as a hundred-percent simulation of reality, launched. Gamers scoffed: "It's bound to be another fake full-dive game, just 5D for real. Not playing."

On their first day in the game, the initial batch of players came out of it completely crazed.

"What kind of real world is this? I must have transmigrated."

"You get adorable little creatures and mighty beasts just for logging in."

Bystanders: "They're just cashing in on the hype."

Later: "This is amazing!"

A novel featuring Fourth Calamity game players.
