Come check out my upcoming story, "Turn into a Cat and Give My Boyfriend Full Marks"!
-
Formerly titled "The Salted Fish Witch's Road to Kingship"
Ten thousand years ago, the Abyssal Witch ruled the dark world, treating all living things like dirt and scheming to seize the human world. But she had no popular support. Humanity fought back with all its might, and even her own followers turned against her at the crucial moment. The Light Witch crushed her heart with ease.
But now, someone has revived the legendary Abyssal Witch for their own selfish purposes.
To stop this plan, the Empire decides to summon heroes from another world to defend the hard-won peace of the continent.
And so, players from Blue Star answer the call and arrive on the battlefield.
Player A: Sure, I skip class, hang out at bars, and play games, but I don't deserve to run into Maggie.
Player B: I want to be a magical girl, not Maggie's magic chef.
Player C: I like Maggie's dog, but it treats me like a walking emergency food supply.
Legendary Abyssal Witch Maggie: Thanks for asking. No need to revive me, I'm right here.
As the Abyssal Witch's successor, Maggie feels immense pressure because of what her predecessor did. So, for three hundred years, she has diligently maintained good relations with her followers, never missing a day, like clocking in for work. Yet they still avoid her like the plague.
Maggie, feeling emo: Fine, then I'm leaving.
Who knew that leaving would mean being separated forever, each going their own way?
A thousand years later, Maggie is revived and meets some adorable companions. She travels the continent with them, only for the former and current witches to come face-to-face, both glaring at each other.
Former follower, eyes red: My lord, we...
Current follower, smiling: Your lord is doing fine. She's ours now.

Upcoming story blurb
In most people's eyes, Gu Yushi is a beautiful heiress with impeccable poise. Her admirers stretch from one end of the street to the other, and she was born ahead of everyone else, already standing at the finish line.
But Gu Yushi knows that's not the case. Though she has everything she needs, she spends every day worrying about how to study hard, get into a top university, and become a source of pride for her family.
But perhaps because one morning she was supposed to step out with her left foot first but stepped with her right instead, her life gradually began to grow strange.
She turned into a cat.
Being a cat is great. Being a cat is wonderful. Cats don't have to get up at six and go to bed at midnight, and cats don't have to go to college. The only problem is deciding whose food bowl to grace today.
Unfortunately, a cat's life is short. In the blink of an eye, she became human again.
She awoke from a long dream without a trace, but it seemed that something strange had attached itself to her.
Clue one: She clearly remembers hearing the dull thud of her pillow falling off the bed last night, but when she woke up the next day, it was lying beside her, perfectly in place.
Clue two: The toothpaste she casually left by the sink when she went out in the morning was standing neatly in the rinse cup when she got back.
Clue three: ...
Most people would have been so frightened by all this that they'd move out already.
Gu Yushi doesn't care in the slightest. If there were any danger, the pillow wouldn't be back on the bed. It would be covering her face, and there'd be no telling whether she'd wake up.
If there's no danger, why worry?
Besides, when she calls out at bedtime, the lights turn off by themselves, even more convenient than motion-sensor lights. If she wakes up thirsty in the middle of the night, the water on her bedside table is always at the perfect temperature.
Where else can you find such a considerate roommate?
Theme: Peace is hard-won, so cherish it with gratitude
