I.
The story began in their second year of high school, when Shen Xi met a cold, aloof ghost in the hallway. Shen You gradually fell for the girl named Shen Xi, hiding the surging love in his heart.
After the college entrance exams, Shen You wanted to give up on the crush he'd had for a year. He never imagined that the girl he liked had been secretly in love with him too. During the year they were apart, they had no contact whatsoever. At seventeen, Shen Xi quietly made a wish: that someday in the future, she would bravely run toward that boy.
A year after they parted, they both ended up at the same university by a twist of fate. When they met again, the person neither of them could forget appeared before them as if by a miracle, both a stranger and familiar, just like when they first met.
The story ends with Shen Xi and Shen You choosing each other and heading toward the future they had dreamed of at seventeen.
The wind that blew that summer carried the sweet fragrance of pomelo, drifting away to somewhere far beyond.

A campus story about a secret crush.
I write fiction purely out of love for it, but also because I believe the regrets of real life can have a happy ending in a novel. The person I like doesn't have to like me back, but in a parallel world, I hope he's happy.
