The Heart of the Machine

Trying to get out of doing a practical assignment, Ling Ling heads to a recycling shop to pick up something ready-made. By chance, she finds a humanoid robot. From then on, there’s another resident in Ling Ling’s cramped room, nicknamed Little Red.

But this robot seems a little different from the ones he’s seen. He doesn’t obey his owner, does whatever he wants, loves showing off, and has all kinds of annoying habits.

Ling Ling: Heaven knows how many times I’ve wanted to stuff him back into the parts recycling shop.

Little Red: I’m a considerate robot. I can cook, tutor you, and even solve your single-owner problem. Where else are you going to find a robot as outstanding as me?
