During a livestream, viewers were astonished to discover that Tan Shen, the self-proclaimed king of trash talk and a perennial bachelor in their eyes, seemed to have an improper relationship with the new internet-famous operations assistant from Team GH.
At the same time, a passerby fan took a photo and posted it on Weibo: a well-known player of the mobile racing game was on a date with what looked like one of his fans at a milk tea shop.
An office romance plus two-timing instantly put pro player Chat in the eye of the storm.
One of the people involved, Tan Chen, responded late that night: The office romance is real. Also, there has only ever been one boat.
However, the post was mercilessly deleted less than half a minute after it went up.
The other person involved, Su Luoqiu, who was both the team's operations assistant and a fan, glared through clenched teeth at the man lounging on the sofa with one leg crossed, and at the screenshots flooding Weibo. For a while, she seriously considered quitting, breaking up, and going home to inherit the family fortune.
Then she decided to go down in flames with that bastard.
So GH.Chat posted again: Mind your own business, thanks.
Half a minute later: My girlfriend posted that just now. To clarify, the operations assistant and the fan at the milk tea shop are the same person. She's my girlfriend, and she's mad at me right now, so I have to go make it up to her. Also, anyone spreading rumors should watch out for a lawyer's letter.
One more comment was added: If anyone knows how to make up with your girlfriend, please tell me. Thanks.
#ChasingAfter: When you're not in first place, the System activates a speed boost to help you catch up.
An esports story set in the mobile game Speed Racing. There isn't much about the game, so you can follow along even if you don't play.
The blurb was screenshotted and saved on 2021/8/6.
