Why Is Atobe-Kun Crying?

One night, I got up for a drink of water and found Keigo sitting beside the floor lamp in the living room, still awake even though he was staying at my place.

I went over to greet him. When he turned his face toward me, I saw tears glistening in the corners of his eyes.

I was completely stunned.

No way.

Could Keigo, a man made of money, roses, and tennis, actually cry?

I thought about it, then gave him an excuse: "So even you get scared of thunder, Keigo?"

"..." Keigo already looked unhappy, and his expression darkened further, but he didn't deny it.

Later, when Keigo defeated his nemesis and lost to a rising star, I finally realized he hadn't been afraid of thunder.

It feels a little strange to say this about my boyfriend, but--

Keigo is actually a very gentle person.
