Misty Expanse (Kim Jong-in, Oh Se-hun)

Long Fog blurb:

He woke in the darkness.

He smelled narcissus, as if it were winter.

But he had lost his memory.

"I am your wife."

He heard a soft voice answering his mumbled words.

"I am your wife."

Daybreak blurb:

The older sister in her dream sat across from her, her face no longer clear.

She gently sewed a stuffed toy, just as she had all those years ago.

Song Huaping held up the cloth doll, smiling sweetly, just as she had in life.

"Roses have thorns, Sister." She looked at her and cried. "When we picked them as children, they left our hands covered in blood."

"No matter how much it hurts, it can still be sewn back together."

Long Fog and Daybreak began as ideas from a long, long time ago. After much hesitation, I decided to publish them together as companion stories.

The oars cut through the water, and the little boat rocked gently, following the ripples toward the light of day.

The long fog never clears.
