[I Am a Big Brother] An Anglerfish's Care Diary

Sanqiao Ling's mother is Chinese and her father is Japanese. She grew up with her maternal grandparents, and her favorite thing to do every day was practice tai chi with her grandmother.

Some people sound like sweet girls when they speak Japanese, then sound like they're from China's Northeast when they speak Chinese.

In her second year of high school, for reasons unknown, she flies to Japan and moves in with a cousin she hasn't seen in years.

Who would've thought her cousin, whom she remembers as a little brat, would turn into a delinquent?!

Great, I can finally put all those years of tai chi to use!

"Big Brother, I'll teach you Chinese martial arts."

After being victimized by her long-range strikes, Ito says, "You're a great teacher. Never teach me again."

Looking back, Sanqiao Ling went to Japan once in middle school for a summer festival. Her Japanese wasn't good at the time, so when she got lost, she communicated with sign language and sound effects.

"Whoosh! Pow! Bang bang, crackle crackle."

A kind person who seemed mute took Sanqiao Ling to the summer festival. To thank him, she decided to give him a distinctly Chinese lapel pin: a black-and-white panda-head reaction-image pin she'd bought at a street stall.

Hilarious. Does a panda head stop being a panda just because it's a reaction image?

Theme: A panda-meme girl is still a panda girl.
