Also known as "What Do I Do After Being Given to the Man I Once Used and Abandoned?"
Ying Shuang is the most renowned dancer in You Yi Chun. Her slender figure has made nobles and lords bow at her feet, but no one knows that she is actually a spy raised by the Prince of Qi's household.
As the struggle for the throne begins to heat up, she is sent to the powerful Cui family, allies of the Crown Prince, to seduce Cui Heng, the young and ambitious deputy commander.
As luck would have it, bandits cause trouble when she is leaving the city. Seriously injured, she is rescued by Cui Heng, who happens to be passing by, and naturally ends up staying in his private residence.
Cui Heng tends to her wounds without a hint of suspicion, thoughtful and considerate.
After winning his trust, Ying Shuang steals intelligence one day while he's away and sneaks off.
Four years later, the emperor dies and the Prince of Qi takes the throne. Cui Heng, who had been sent to the border to fight, returns to the capital victorious and is made a great general.
At the welcome banquet, Ying Shuang is once again assigned a place beside Cui Heng.
He sits in a round-backed armchair, tall and imposing, a mighty figure. As she approaches with a wine cup, he gently lifts her chin with a fingertip, his gaze cold and somber.
"You think I'll fall for the same trick twice?"
*
Cui Heng was born into a noble family. As a young man, he was arrogant, untamed, and carefree.
While suppressing bandits, he unexpectedly rescued a delicate, pampered girl, and had to patiently coax her into taking her medicine and cheer her up.
He planned to report the matter to his parents after a while, then marry her properly.
He never imagined that the woman he gave his heart to and cherished like a jewel was a spy planted right beside him.
What he never imagined was that he would fall for the same woman twice.
