This is a story about youth.
It's also a heartwarming story.
About summer, young people, love, and growing up.
Yukimura Seiichi x Ikeda Mei
He is the Child of God who led Rikkai University's tennis club to consecutive championships. She is the talented young captain who led Rikkai University's karate club back to prominence.
He is gentle and powerful, yet trapped by his own obsession. She has weathered many storms, but remains optimistic and strong.
He lit a lamp for her in the darkness, so when he became lost in the abyss, she became his candlelight.
They are two sides of the same soul, twin flowers who save each other.
Shiraishi Kuranosuke x Morikawa Yuzuha
Morikawa Yuzuha is an unusual presence at Shitenhoji: she's a normal person.
She can't understand why everyone insists on being so absurd, but his words, "No matter what, you still have to be happy," move her.
She doesn't seem to have much of a sense of humor, yet she always manages to hit his funny bone.
Their story this summer is like a glass of chilled lemon soda: simple and joyful.
Atobe Keigo x Fujiwara Ayane
The only daughter of a fallen old-money family and the young heir of a rising nouveau riche clan.
She is a mysterious girl, and as the layers are peeled away, buried events of the past gradually come to light.
As the curtain slowly falls, he sees her resilience, courage, and pride.
Tezuka Kunimitsu x Matsuyuki Aoi
They meet by chance in a foreign land, and each finds a temporary refuge from loneliness in the other.
His resolve and sense of duty awaken her zest for life.
She thinks she's timid, ordinary, and easy to overlook, but amid his uncertainty, he is moved by her earnest, simple efforts.
Everyone adrift in loneliness will eventually find a harbor.
This book follows its predecessor, A Few Stories from Rikkai, but as time passes and the main plot progresses, the story moves further into the original storyline we're familiar with. Since some plot points in the TV series and manga conflict, the story draws on both.
If the previous book was about Rikkai University, this one focuses more on an ensemble cast from four schools. I hope to gradually expand that world, making it more realistic and complete, more nuanced and moving, and to experience from another perspective the summer we followed together, as well as the youth and growth of those boys.
I dedicate this book to the Prince of Tennis, whom I've loved for so long.
Thank you all for your support!
Also... since this is an ensemble story, I hope you'll be a little understanding~ Comments that pit characters against each other or are off-topic will be deleted. Thank you for understanding~
Theme: The most beautiful love is when two people save each other.
Difficulties and hardships have brought you success.
Hiss~ Kicked the pillar to pieces?! Be honest, Mei, do you have a senior brother named Kyogoku Makoto! (Tuck your chin and think jpg) [Sunglasses]
Mei Yi: I am not the queen of the delicate girl [Sunglasses]
As long as I am with you, I will reach you no matter how far the distance is.
Damn it, I never thought it would be divided into two parts. As long as I don't get the completion mark of the first part, I won't come in. I never thought it would be a huge pit.
I can't remember whether I watched the anime or the setting in the fanfiction back then... The success rate is less than 30%? Without surgery and conservative treatment, the patient will behave like an ordinary person. Unable to make precise movements. If the operation fails, you will die... I can't remember if it was a private surgery, but I feel very 😭 sad.
This chapter is so beautiful... It is the chapter that pokes my soul the most. When faced with injuries, athletes may feel regretful when they are alone late at night. "Why weren't you more careful?" "Why didn't you get treatment earlier?" "Why... Why..." Suffering floods my heart, and I suppress it forcefully to prevent the people around me from worrying 😭 😭
😭 😭 Sanada is really not as "strong" as Tezuka and Atobe. This strength refers to the heart. Yukimura is too strong, so strong that Sanada criticizes himself, but does not trust himself, and will "arrogantly" focus on the strong person who beats him. Tezuka would do his best when facing an opponent, no matter how strong or weak he was (doing coaching sessions during training), but Sanada would have a "I have to keep up with Yukimura's pace, so... I have to use these to win" and thus sealed his ability, leading to the failure of the Kanto Competition.
[Kudou] Atobe actually likes Tezuka very much. Tezuka is the Bai Yueguang of many people, and there is also a pity that he, as a national-level player, was buried in Qingxue.
Ice Emperor's arrogance is multifaceted. His superior family background, appearance, ability, and a group of outstanding people around him make them inadvertently reveal "arrogance" when they look at "mediocrity." This kind of arrogance is not impolite, but is due to their strength. We all show varying degrees of "arrogance" in the fields we are good at [Spread Flowers]
