[Crossover] The Living Doll's Job

[Question: What do living dolls do?]

"Living dolls have two main duties.

First, serve their own Shadow Master.

Second, form teams of four and, under the guidance of a Keeper, enter human dreams tainted by Outer Gods to cleanse the corruption and retrieve relics or fragments of souls to bring back to the Shadow Kingdom."

Yisheng is a brand-new living doll with no feelings. He does whatever his database tells him to do.

However, his database keeps automatically searching for and playing data with bafflingly tenuous connections.

For example, when he first met a certain teammate, his database played a Hulk talent show.

At the same time, his teammates don't match the "common sense" in his database.

Teammate A: Clearly a magician, yet always playing around with little knives.

Teammate B: Just an ordinary success at mechanical repairs, yet manages to make firearms out of department-store goods.

Teammate C: A spectacular success at performing, making every living thing lose SAN.

Yisheng: ...Question: If I get a spectacular success in medicine, can I use Hero never die?

Keeper: (painful mask.jpg)

This is a cozy, endless-dungeon adventure. In broad strokes, it's about investigators and Keepers, teammates going head-to-head, and living dolls matching wits with their Shadow Masters.

Reader's guide:

1. Everyone starts with no memories. Can you guess who teammates A, B, and C are?

2. The setting combines modified versions of Shadows House, the MCU, DC movies, Call of Cthulhu tabletop role-playing, and a bunch of other original elements.

3. To keep the game fun for the Keepers, the living dolls' abilities and stats have been balanced and weakened.

4. Updates whenever inspiration strikes. Brave readers, feel free to jump in.
