Chi Yang is a strikingly beautiful, short-tempered man with severe dissociative identity disorder.

One day, he transmigrates into an infinite-flow horror novel and becomes a pretty but useless minor character who dies right at the start.

This infinite-flow world uses a test-based system for clearing its challenges. Its full name is the Global Selective Human Sixth Sense Level Exam, abbreviated as "Level Six." Only the top 10% can pass, and the person who completes it in the shortest time earns a challenge ticket. The ticket is the only way back to the real world.

While everyone else is being mercilessly hunted by the instance bosses, Chi Yang's experience couldn't be more different.

Instance One: The courtesan personally ties a marriage contract around him and coyly coos, "Darling, from now on, we'll never be apart."

And his most troublesome ex-boyfriend is the protagonist of the book, the evil god Mijia.

His misdeeds toward Mijia include, but aren't limited to: cutting off Mijia's tentacles whenever he was in a bad mood, trying to devour him and trap him in the abyss forever, and mentally abusing him with the line, "Everything is for humanity!"

Now Mijia has awakened his evil god powers and is demanding that humanity sacrifice You Xia to him.

Evil God: Sacrifice your flesh and blood to me to prove you love only me. I can restart the world's timeline before the world is destroyed.

Good news: There's someone to sacrifice him to.

Bad news: It's his ex-boyfriend, and his love is deeply twisted.

You Xia looks down at his frail body.

Where are my blazing feathers? Where's my giant form? Where are my sharp little claws?

And he really doesn't have any flesh and blood!

But as long as a bird is alive, there's always hope. To keep this world he transmigrated into from being destroyed again, You Xia decides to rewrite the timeline and rekindle hope for humanity's survival in the apocalypse, using it to ignite his flesh and blood.

After he helps the research institute mass-produce pollution suppressants,

Scientist: He's humanity's savior.

After he uses an iron fist to reform the rotten Federation and clear the names of its artisan heroes,

After he single-handedly makes space travel accessible to everyone,

Emperor: He's the empire's faith.

He even tries his best to win the evil god over, but the god's demands are just too strange.

Later, when the Great Annihilation arrives once more and the world enters an endless freeze, the fog over the past clears as the timeline restarts.

Half a second later, the evil god regains his memories, too.

Evil God: You freeloading scoundrel!

Phoenix: Cheep~

Mijia is the most dangerous infected being in history, the evil god himself, and the monster sealed in the abyss. Few people know that he was once an ordinary, poor student at the Red Maple Research Institute who suffered from severe hypothermia and was afraid to interact with others for fear of being treated like a freak.

Until one day, a slender young man touched his cheek.

From then on, he developed a strange hunger for the young man, while his ever-growing spiritual entity whispered in his ear at all hours.

"Drag him back to your nest and hide him."

"Devour him slowly."

The spiritual entity meant a very peculiar kind of devouring, one that made the young man's eyes grow red at the corners as he begged for mercy again and again, while his voice was crushed into the darkness.
