A Li grew up dependent on others, struggling to get by under the thumb of her sharp-tongued aunt. Life was hard.
When she reached marriageable age, she grew more and more beautiful, and finally fell for someone: a promising young clerk in the prefectural office.
She eagerly hoped to marry him, but he said, "In my family, a man must be forty and have no sons before he can take a concubine. Lady Wei, you have quite a wait ahead of you." Her hopes of marrying him shattered.
Later, A Li's aunt sold her as a concubine to Song, a professor at the government office.

Li Zhi was the most dazzling young man of the Great Sheng Dynasty, a prodigy who made a name for himself in his youth and was utterly self-assured.
At seven, he impressed the Xuanzong Emperor with a brilliant response and was personally appointed Crown Prince's Corrector. At fourteen, he became the top scorer in the imperial examinations as a youthful genius.
At twenty-one, for his role in pacifying Xichuan, he was granted the title Duke of Zhao. Soon afterward, he was ordered to lead the Shence Army to Linzhou to suppress bandits.
Yet this powerful official, whose future seemed limitless, ultimately dared to defy convention and marry a common girl from Linzhou.
That woman had once been a concubine to a low-ranking instructor at the prefectural school.
A Li: I couldn't help it. I've been married three times.
Li Zhi: What nonsense! On the first day of our wedding, you came straight into my arms! The second time, you married Li Sihu; the third time, you married the Duke of Zhao. Both were me, Li Zhi...
Kindhearted beauty and orphaned girl VS promising young powerful official
Content warning: The female lead starts out very weak, but gradually changes later on.
One-on-one romance, happy ending, both leads are sexually inexperienced.

Blurb:
When Zang Mi was forced to marry Liu Zhen, she was terrified of him.
Rumor had it that Liu Zhen was born rebellious, brave and fierce, with a violent and cruel nature that made everyone near and far tremble in fear.
A delicate yet headstrong young lady like Zang Mi had been humiliated, broken in spirit, and forced to marry him. It wasn't hard to imagine what might happen to her if she dared to resist Liu Zhen.
On their wedding night, the oppressive presence of the man made Zang Mi tremble like a frightened bird. Her heart pounded, her breathing tightened into a taut string, and while he wasn't looking, she hid in a narrow gap beside the wardrobe.
But he caught her by the ankle and held her against his waist.
Her silk stocking slipped off, and her exquisite foot wriggled like a slippery fish, refusing to yield.
The man's voice was hoarse as he asked, "You don't want to marry me?"
Zang Mi trembled, but stubbornly insisted, "I... I don't..."
His thick brows furrowed as he looked up at her. Zang Mi hurriedly avoided his gaze and changed her answer. "...I do."

Liu Zhen came from humble beginnings. He was poor, down on his luck, and fiercely combative. No one was willing to marry their daughter to him.
When Zang Mi was forced to marry him, everyone felt sorry for her. Such a fine young lady, they thought, was doomed to spend her life stuck in the mire.
But no one expected that the notorious thug, known for his violence and feared by all, would turn out to be a devoted lover who cherished her with all his heart.
Not long after marrying Liu Zhen, Zang Mi became the wife of a military adviser, then the wife of a general, then a duke's wife, and ultimately Empress Zang, at the very pinnacle of power.
(Mi in Zang Mi's name can be pronounced in two ways: one means peace and quiet, while the other is used in surnames.)
Content warning: The female lead goes through a difficult time early on. The male lead starts out in a humble position and is a self-made emperor, not someone who immediately conquers everyone. The two meet at the lowest point in their lives, support each other, and rise to the top together.
Theme: Love knows no class or status
The ending was really rushed. I think I could have written about ten more chapters. The two finally got together after going through hardships, and it ended. I didn't want to write a little more sweetness (sad and reluctant to let go).
The writing in the front is great, but the back part is really too rushed and not really enjoyable to read.
Will there be any extras? The ending feels a bit rushed
Such a beautiful article, no comments?
Beautiful, I like the heroine the most!
Found another good author. The writing is very good and the characters are lovely. The story is also very interesting. If you write more, you will definitely become famous.
The ending is very sloppy and feels anticlimactic. I spent money to buy the whole book, so I can criticize it.
Very well written!!!! It feels like watching a TV series when I was a kid. I love both the characters of the male protagonist and the female protagonist!! Let's make a side story, please
No more, it was a bit sudden
Spread flowers ~ It would be great if there was a side story
