His name is Kaneki Ken, and he hasn't had much luck.
He only saw the light for a year or two, and yet he hates the dark and fears pain. He has several friends, as well as a childhood friend. Those friends often bicker in his head, but it makes things lively. He only vaguely remembers meeting his childhood friend once, though he often hears a voice sharing stories about the outside world with him. His childhood friend is somewhat sensitive and introverted, and sometimes says rather pessimistic things, so Kaneki has to cheer him up every time.
Later, a blaze of fireworks burned away his restraints and ignited his desires. Two years later, seeing his depressed childhood friend, who had no one to comfort him, Kaneki once again took up the mantle of his emotional counselor.
But there's also a group of so-called kin who keep saying they want to make him a dragon, and want to rule Japan. Then there are the gangsters in Yokohama, the old fossils in the Tokyo jujutsu leadership, and foreign governments and ability users. You people scheme and fight all day. Aren't you tired of it?
Warnings:
1. My take on Kaneki Ken, with a somewhat different setting. (Of course things are different when the environment is different.)
2. Ghouls still exist in this world, but they are rather isolated and few in number. They are a group of fanatical believers determined to raise Kaneki Ken into a dragon.
3. There are some elements from Jujutsu Kaisen, but the story is mainly based on Bungo Stray Dogs.
4. The Tsushima family has been altered.
5. Kaneki Ken has multiple personalities.
