When she was little, Zhang Nannan happened to acquire a "secret manual." By the time she was old enough to understand it, she discovered that it taught all sorts of sinister, heretical techniques.
The Five Ghosts' Transporting Art, making people lose their wealth?
Stealing another person's fortune, leaving their family ruined?
Changing someone's fate so that a blessed person spends their life in misery?
Bewitchment, raising a harem of fish as a player?
Seizing the earth's ley lines to cultivate, leaving an entire region poor and backward?
And that's not even mentioning raising little ghosts, transforming animals, cultivating corpses, skeleton arts, and so on...
This is so warped!
What's more, one of her roommates is a thoroughly upright college student from a Taoist sect. Zhang Nannan, a practitioner of "heretical arts," is practically shaking in her boots...
P.S. Zhang Nannan's "heretical practitioner" secret identity will never be exposed. Later on, she'll encounter authentic Taoist teachings and study them.
Theme: Hold fast to your beliefs and keep your heart strong, so you can face the world and yourself with a clear conscience.
