Blurb:

Xie Zhinian had spent three hundred years specializing in being a scumbag gong. After an unexpected world collapse, he was forced to give up his planned ascension to Lord God and instead stabilize the collapsing worlds, erase the corrupted male leads' darkening values, clear his name with a "fake death," and complete his missions before leaving.

[The renowned Immortal Venerable of the cultivation world]

His target was the disciple whose golden core he had taken.

The disciple had once loved him dearly, with eyes and heart filled with him. But after Xie Zhinian completed his mission to win him over, he took the disciple's golden core and told him he was only a substitute.

From then on, the disciple lived for revenge, transforming into a Demon Lord everyone despised.

The Demon Lord returned to take revenge. He abused him, loved him, hated him, and saved him. At last, when Xie Zhinian returned to the world to clear his name, the Demon Lord held his corpse and wept bitterly. "Shizun, your disciple no longer seeks immortality. I beg you, don't die before my eyes. I beg you, don't leave your disciple unable to find you."

[The ruthless superstar of the entertainment industry]

His target was a powerful figure in the industry.

The big shot kept him for three whole years, treated him with sincerity, and spoiled him beyond all reason, until he became arrogant and thought he could do anything.

After completing his mission, Xie Zhinian casually cheated on him.

After that, the big shot stopped doting on him, withdrew his resources, returned to his old self, and became the same abstinent big shot he had been before.

The big shot hated him, loved him, and couldn't refuse him. At last, after Xie Zhinian returned to the world to clear his name, he held his corpse and said, "You can take all the revenge you want on me. You can use me however you like. I don't want anything anymore, because I've missed you so much that I'm going numb."

[The infamous feng shui master]

His target was the reborn genius of the Shen family.

The Shen family's genius had been killed by Xie Zhinian in his previous life. After being reborn, he fell in love with Xie Zhinian again and doted on him just as he had in his past life.

After completing his mission, Xie Zhinian told him that he too had been reborn and had been deceiving him all along to get his family's heirloom.

Having been fooled twice, the Shen family's son was furious and joined forces with feng shui masters to hunt Xie Zhinian down, eager to tear him limb from limb.

But after Xie Zhinian cleared his name, the man held his corpse and said, "People don't get fooled twice. I never imagined I had let you down in another time and space."

[The fake young master who switched identities]

His target was the abstinent older brother he had raised.

His abstinent older brother had depended on him for ten years, protecting him as he grew up. Together, they broke through the taboo of their love.

After finishing the mission, Xie Zhinian chose to confess everything, telling him he had deceived him because he was afraid his brother would learn he was a fake young master and throw him out.

His brother hated him for deceiving him about his feelings and drove him out of the house.

But after Xie Zhinian cleared his name, his brother held him, now lost in a daze, and said in anguish, "It was all my fault. My Niannian, you're my one and only treasure."

[The revenge-seeking prince, a fake omega and real alpha, who deceived the general]

His target was an alpha general.

The alpha general fell in love with him at first sight, and they loved each other. He took care of Xie Zhinian for free, as though helping the poor.

After completing his mission, Xie Zhinian turned around and told him he was an alpha and had only ever wanted revenge. He also said that an alpha as dominant as him could never be a delicate omega.

The alpha general was disgusted and furious, becoming a laughingstock.

But after Xie Zhinian cleared his name, the man held his battered corpse, his eyes full of regret, and said, "Do you know that lily of the valley means the return of happiness? Do you know I planted it to give you hope? Please, don't leave me like this."

"Everyone I've ever scumbagged has been fooled by my disguise."
