[CP: Idealist criminal psychology expert and materialist crime scene trace expert]
A duo who can start arguing at any moment
First draft of the blurb (I'll make small changes before posting, but the overall framework should stay the same):
Nineteen years ago, a particularly heinous series of murders shocked the nation. The killer was cruel, elusive, and deeply calculating. With little evidence or leads, the case remains unsolved to this day.
With only one year left before the statute of limitations expires, the killer suddenly appears again. The same methods, the same hallmarks. Is the same killer striking again, or is someone deliberately imitating them?
The local police request support from the Criminal Investigation Bureau's Major Crimes Unit, hoping to bring the killer to justice this time.
After graduating, Yu Shuyin returns to China and is specially recruited by the Criminal Investigation Bureau to join the Major Crimes Unit as a criminal psychology consultant.
Yu Shuyin has wanted to be a police officer since she was a child, and now her dream has come true. She happily reports to the Major Crimes Unit, only to meet her destined nemesis, Qi Jianwei, on her very first day.
In Yu Shuyin's eyes, Qi Jianwei is rigid, sharp-tongued, arrogant, and inflexible. She cares only about evidence and treats psychological analysis as worthless. What an insufferable narcissist!
From day one, they become sworn enemies in the Major Crimes Unit. Everyone knows they can't stand each other.
But no one knows that after all their bickering, and after solving case after case together, something impossible to ignore begins to stir between them.
Our meeting was destined to be an extraordinary encounter.
The fog of an old case, the mysteries of a new one,
criminal profiling and crime scene trace analysis,
The "Extraordinary Encounter" CP joins forces to reconstruct the crime scenes and infer the killers' behavior and logic.
