Dancing in My Secret Identity in Front of the Real Deal

[Please add my upcoming novel The Viral Fan Comic UP Creator Is a Paper Doll to your collection.] Wakamatsu Haruya is bound to an unreliable secret identity System and forced to enter hell mode. Not only must he complete the System's missions, he also has to find a way to bring himself back to life, making him the most pitiful Host of all. The System expects its Host to protest, but who would have thought Wakamatsu Haruya would charge straight into the mission world without looking back, performing one dazzling move after another until the System's eyes are spinning At a lively executive's birthday party, a lifeless zombie stands gazing across the river of death at the light, offering words that could be either a blessing or a curse. "Everything you don't want to lose will be lost someday. You can never know what the next second of life will bring, so cherish the present, Chuuya." Zombie Chuuya At his friend's grave, a demon dressed in white as pure as snow carefully cradles a white lotus. His smile is impossible to read, neither triumphant nor mocking. "I never thought I'd be luckier than you. Want me to recite Oda Sakunosuke's work from beginning to end?" Demon Dazai In a dark alley, a compassionate divine child clutches his living, breathing younger sister, casting all his dignity aside. "In a person's life, they'll meet many people, but no one can replace family. Don't... let yourself live to regret it." Divine Child Akutagawa In the detective agency's infirmary, a gaunt rabbit beastman with vacant eyes begs the doctor who saves lives to grant him death. "To be born into a particular species is a sin. When birth itself is a mistake, then living is a crime. I'm just correcting that mistake." White Rabbit Atsushi The System originally thought Wakamatsu Haruya was bound to mess up. But it went from "Could that work?" to "That actually worked?!" and then to "I'll do whatever the Host says!" in the time it took to use one secret identity. When Wakamatsu Haruya completes all his missions and is about to end their contract, the System clings to his leg and begs him to stay: Host, don't go! Wakamatsu Haruya's response: ...Just say what you mean. No need to cling to me. Reader's notes: 1. No secret identities are exposed throughout the story. 2. The protagonist loves stirring up trouble. Causing trouble makes him happy. 3. The secret identities are based on the mobile game Bungo Stray Dogs: Tales of the Lost. Their character backgrounds are fan interpretations and unrelated to the main storyline (I'm afraid Asagiri might prove me wrong). 4. The author's writing is limited. If you find it's not to your taste, please stop reading in time to avoid further losses. Upcoming novel blurb below Sakamoto Harutani, a corporate drone in the Port Mafia, gets bound to a real-world anime website and accidentally discovers the "truth" of the world. A fate called "the plot" begins to loom over him like a dark cloud. He refuses to believe in so-called plots. So, to uncover the truth behind them, the real-world fan comic UP creator "Kiriya Sora" appears out of nowhere To test the website's features, Sakamoto Harutani casually films a clip of his daily work and uploads it. It goes viral overnight, gaining ten million followers. Fans leave comments: "I saw a god before I even ascended. How many official characters do you have for breakfast, boss?" "The mystery of the video site: the missing follow button." Later, to test how much the plot influences things, Sakamoto Harutani intervenes in the story several times, prompting a flood of frenzied comments: "Is this a showdown between the top-tier masterminds? I'm in love." "A walking, talking weapon of causality is truly terrifying." Later still, Sakamoto Harutani sets his sights on several other "anime" and reaches out with his big, meddling hand, making countless anime fans scream: "See that guy called Scotland, Harutani? Save him from getting killed and you'll get a top-tier assistant!" "Go for it, Harutani! Show that Shiroran just how powerful causality can be!" Sakamoto Harutani just wants to say this about those comments: He's just a corporate drone who doesn't want to be crushed by fate. There's no need to read too much into it. Theme: Life is short.
