Mo Dao Zu Shi Fanfiction: A Thousand Years

After the siege at the Burial Mounds, the Yiling Patriarch and the entire Wen clan's Qishan Medical Branch died. Lan Wangji questioned the spirits for thirteen years, and Mo Xuanyu's sacrificial ritual failed, so Wei Wuxian was never resurrected.

When the red-clad ghost king Lan Wangji was summoned by Wei Wuxian from a thousand years ago, at the moment of the ambush on Qiongqi Path, everything changed.

The ghost king Lan Wangji and the younger Lan Wangji both exist, but are essentially one person. The same is true of Wei Wuxian after becoming a ghost and the Wei Wuxian from a thousand years ago.
