A down-on-his-luck stray cat of a bottom vs. a crazy general of a top
The sixteen prefectures of the Northern Frontier were reclaimed in a single campaign, and the battle-hardened General Butcher was summoned to the capital.
In less than a month, people across the capital began dying sudden, violent deaths, each in a different way.
They had nothing in common, except that before they died, they all screamed out one name.
A Shi.
Only then did people realize that, apart from a scar over his left eye, General Butcher looked exactly like A Shi, the slave who had followed the capital's young tyrant around five years ago.
Another name came to mind as well: Cui Ziyan.
No one had imagined that five years later, the slave A Shi would become the Northern Frontier's powerful commander-in-chief, while Cui Ziyan, once the capital's young tyrant, had fallen to the rank of a commoner.
Everyone was wondering how Cui Ziyan would die.
Even his best friend urged him to pack his things and flee that very night.
But no one knew that he was happy just to see Song Shi again.
#He lost his A Shi five years ago. Now he wants to find him again. #
