Apocalypse Mode

The zombie virus breaks out, and humanity enters an unfamiliar mode of survival. Then natural disasters strike one after another, making a bad situation even worse. Yet humanity sets aside old grudges and grievances, unites, and works together to weather the crisis, striving for a better future (luring the dog in so it can be killed. smile.jpg). The future is bright!

A sharp-tongued jinx and military rogue, and a timid, meticulous science-and-engineering type, save each other. The romance takes its time to develop, and the story is the focus.

Realistic in style, with a satisfying edge, but not a sweet romance. The author plans to plausibly and reasonably kill off every named character who appears outside the main group.

Not fantasy: the zombies have a scientific basis, and there are antibodies and vaccines. Main character is the bottom; the story is the focus.

Theme: Ignorance is not an obstacle to survival. Arrogance is.
