My Nightmare Boyfriend

While traveling for his studies, Tang Xie rented a yacht with his roommates and sailed to a nearby island for a visit.

The local natives warned them that a demon lived on the island, and that anyone who set foot there would never be able to return to the human world.

They ventured deep into the forest. It was quiet and dark all around them, with not a ray of light getting through.

Just like in every clichéd horror movie, they got completely lost.

Fortunately, they spotted a faint light in the distance. When they drew near, they discovered a splendid, luxurious mansion.

They pushed open the door and entered. The place was brilliantly lit and breathtakingly beautiful. Then the "master" appeared and personally "entertained" them...

"At last, I've found you."

As languorous whispers drifted through the sweet fragrance, Tang Xie lost consciousness.

The last thing he saw was a writhing black mass, awash in blood-red light.

When he woke up, Tang Xie found himself lying in a hospital bed. The police and rescue team told him he was the sole survivor.

While recovering, Tang Xie met a doctor named Xiang Xinqian.

Dr. Xiang was handsome and gentle, his eyes brimming with laughter. He radiated light and warmth like the sun, gradually dispelling the fear that lingered in Tang Xie's heart.

"A Xie was my first love. I love A Xie more than anyone in the world. I love only A Xie."

Every night, Xiang Xinqian would earnestly bare his heart and confess to Tang Xie, again and again, never growing tired of it.

"Ah!"

One night, Tang Xie woke with a scream from the nightmare that had come for him once more. Xiang Xinqian, beside him, looked over and asked gently, "What's wrong? Did you have another nightmare?"

"I saw it again. It looked so terrifying...!" Tang Xie threw himself into that warm embrace, grief-stricken and terrified. But his lover did not patiently comfort him as he usually did. Instead, he let out a sharp, mocking laugh. His thin lips suddenly drew close to Tang Xie's ear as he murmured,

"Look. Doesn't the way I look now remind you of it?"
