The Top Female Guard Before the Throne

The Dragon Guard, whose duty is to protect the emperor, needs to select a new First Imperial Guard. At that very moment, the only female disciple living in the martial world suddenly returns to the organization.

She says, "The Heng Kingdom has never had a First Female Imperial Guard because it has never taken on a female disciple before."

Everyone is speechless.

And so the Heng Kingdom gets its first "First 'Female' Imperial Guard" in history.

The Dragon Guard: At court, they're seen as people of the martial world; in the martial world, they're seen as people of the court. For three hundred years, they've stood with one foot in the imperial court and the other in the martial world. Wherever there are traitors and rebels, there are Dragon Guard disciples.
