Jinjiang is full of delicate, tearful heroines, and readers have had enough. One reader slams down the keyboard: "These heroines who start crying and get red eyes at the drop of a hat... I want to crawl through the internet and secretly kill every last one of them! Damn it!"
The comment sets off a storm, and readers tired of the same old thing rush to agree.
Somehow, the delicate heroines hear about it. They gather together with tears in their eyes
Delicate Girl No. 1: "I heard someone's going to secretly kill us." (She gestures at a huge watermelon.) "There are so many of them! I'm scared, sob."
Delicate Girl No. 2: "Please don't!" (She trembles.)
Delicate Girl No. 3 suggests, "We... we should run away." (She makes it look easy.)
And so, a group of fragrant, soft, utterly helpless girls take each other's hands and, in their panic, plunge headfirst into Jinjiang's high-risk infinite escape world.
[Male Lead's Perspective]
When Ye Ting wakes up from a nap, the space beside him is empty and the bed is cold. His sweet, clingy wife Mianmian, who always loves asking him for a good-morning kiss, is gone.
Upon learning that his beloved wife has mistakenly entered the escape world, the man nearly goes mad. He teams up with two other men whose wives are missing and enters the escape world to find them.
The escape world is full of danger. Ye Ting kills any ghosts or monsters in his way. When he misses Mianmian, he repeatedly counts the precious items he won only by fighting with all his might and narrowly escaping death.
Items are the most valuable things in the escape world. Ordinary players are lucky to get even one R-rank item, but they're soon blinded by the brilliant golden light of the SR-rank item in Ye Ting's arms.
They watch as the man carefully and tenderly stores it in his inventory, refusing to use it even when covered in wounds.
The players think they've figured it out: Even a big shot can't bear to use his items casually!
[A Brief Reunion]
After clearing one hell-level instance after another, the wife-finding team finally reunites with their beloved wives.
Ye Ting, always a pampered child of heaven, is wearing a beggar's ragged clothes. His hair is a mess, his face is black with grime, and only the faint outline of his godlike features can be seen.
He doesn't care at first, until he sees his little wife in a lace-and-satin princess dress, a tiny rose-gold crown on her head, her lovely face clean and bright, her lashes curled like raven feathers, and every strand of hair perfectly in place. She sits elegantly in a garden full of fluttering butterflies, enjoying afternoon tea.
Caught off guard by the sight of her beloved husband, Mianmian stares at him blankly. Then her lips quiver and her eyes turn red. She even forgets her favorite strawberry cheesecake. Holding a little fork smeared with cream in one hand and lifting her elaborately patterned skirt with the other, she patters toward him.
The man's grimy hands stain Mianmian's dress, but he holds her tightly.
Before he can ask if she's all right, the girl breaks free of his embrace and starts pulling glowing green items out of her inventory as if they cost nothing. She has so many that they pile up into a little mountain on the ground.
Sobbing, the girl stuffs the items into his arms one after another. "This one's for you, and this one too. You can have them all! Sob..."
The man, now stuffed full of SSR items, is momentarily flustered.

Reader's Guide:
1. In the same escape-world instance, the heroine team is on a relaxing vacation, while the hero team is in a devilish hellscape. The contrast is stark, so readers who are attached to the male lead should beware.
2. Silly and brainless fun. Delicate heroines forever! Both the author and the male leads dote on the heroines. Before their first meeting, the heroine doesn't know the male lead has also entered the escape world.
3. Since this is Green Jinjiang, SSR items glow green~ The heroine appreciates the items the male lead fights so hard to obtain and won't waste or look down on them.
4. The overall tone is lighthearted, with no angst. I'm writing this reminder to myself!
