We Recommend You Listen to the Maid

When Dazai Osamu was the young master of the Tsushima family, he met his guardian deity. The white-haired god dressed as a maid said that was what she was. The young master didn't believe her. He tried to tell other people, only to discover that nobody else could see the deity. With no other choice, he accepted that he had a maid guardian deity. This maid was perfect in every way and could do anything. The only flaw was that she always managed to interrupt his suicide plans. It wasn't as if he hadn't invited her to jump into the river with him, but the next morning he woke up with a bad cold. After that... well, that river nearly disappeared. Afterward, he gave up on suicide entirely. At least, he wouldn't try it in front of Miss Maid. At fifteen, the young master ran away. Before leaving, he discussed with Miss Maid whether she should destroy the Tsushima family or take it over for him. She wasn't to look for him unless he wanted to see her. Miss Maid nodded, then burned down the Tsushima estate, got rid of the riffraff within the family, and put everything in order. But one day, before the time they had agreed to stay apart was up, Miss Maid was unexpectedly summoned to Yokohama. Mistaken for an ability user with the power No Longer Human, Miss Maid watched the young master in a white suit get kidnapped by a dragon while dressed as Snow White, then rescued by a prince with a beautiful singing voice. She slowly lifted her skirt and curtsied. "It's been a long time, Master Shuji." Notes: 1. The pairing is with Dazai. 2. Contains a little Lovecraftian horror. Skip it if that's not your thing. 3. The cover shows Miss Maid; the story is written in second person. Theme: Miss Maid is still trying to fill in the river today
