Xie Lingzhu transmigrated with her luxurious, fully equipped motorhome, and on her first day in this world, she happened to rescue a pitiful soul who nearly perished in a fire.
She discovered that, except in special circumstances, she couldn't leave the motorhome, and the motorhome couldn't leave the imperial capital.
She also discovered that no one but that pitiful soul could see her or her vehicle.
The motorhome System said that to leave the vehicle, she had to raise the pitiful soul's happiness level to 50.
Pei Yuanzhou brushed the footprints off his shoes and watched the figure walking farther and farther away. Beneath his wide sleeves, his fists clenched until his knuckles turned white.
He told himself that a gentleman's revenge could wait ten years.
A couple of days later, he heard that the Second Prince's palace was haunted. A female ghost sang all night, chasing the Second Prince and demanding a red wedding dress. The prince was so frightened that he fell seriously ill and didn't leave the palace for months.
Then he saw the woman in the motorhome holding a black box and singing along with the person inside it: "The man with the lasso, how mighty and bold you are~"
Pei Yuanzhou: The female ghost is right beside me.
Xie Lingzhu looked at the 50 on the control panel and walked out of the motorhome, satisfied. Starting today, she was free, and this wide world was waiting for her.
She was going to drive her motorhome and roam the world!
Now that she was free, she was busier than ever. This month, she went to Songchuan Prefecture to sell skewers; next month, she went to Lingkai Prefecture to tell fortunes; the month after that, she was in Pingfeng Prefecture working as a storyteller.
One day, after waking up, she found herself back in the imperial capital and unable to leave the motorhome again.
She looked up and saw the pitiful soul outside the vehicle.
He said, "I knew you'd show up whenever I got sad."
Xie Lingzhu: What else can I do? Of course I'll spoil him.
