My name is Yamagishi Gaishi.

1. In this story, Yamagishi Gaishi is the author's reincarnation. But since he can't access the outside world, his personality and interests don't match those of the historical literary master.

2. The other literary masters whose secret identities the protagonist takes on all have their own characterizations. Don't take them too seriously. This isn't a hot-blooded leveling story, and the secret identities are used for very unserious purposes.

3. There are many major changes to the original, and characters from other series often make guest appearances.
