To be honest, I may have run into the biggest crisis of my short, twenty-three-year life.
At four in the morning, I woke up after being disturbed by a wet sensation, strange yet familiar. I opened my eyes to see a giant dog face right in front of me...
No, I wasn't cursing. I pushed away the little white dog licking me all over, then stared at the black hand I'd raised. It was much bigger than before, and definitely belonged to a man. I fell into deep thought.
*
This was clearly the home of a single man who took his privacy far too seriously. He owned very few personal items, and both phones I found in his home were locked, leaving me no way to contact the outside world.
Fortunately, I remembered that a few days ago I'd given a shot to the little dog happily spinning in front of me. I vaguely remembered its owner was called Amuro...? He worked as a server in a cafe, and his outrageously handsome appearance had caused quite a stir in our department at the time.
Just then, the man named Amuro called. After a brief conversation, we agreed to meet soon at a cafe close to both of us.
Feeling relieved, I relaxed and lay back, only to feel something strange poking me behind the head.
I reached back and found a gun.

Scotland had recently begun to feel that his friend Bourbon, who was also an undercover agent in the Organization, was acting strangely.
It was definitely still the same person, and his words and actions seemed normal enough. But that was only how it seemed. As his childhood friend of many years, Scotland was quick to sense that something was off.
Unable to resist, Scotland shared his recent concerns with his longtime pen pal, starting with "I have a friend..." and leaving out anything he couldn't reveal, while telling her about the little details that had caught his attention.
"Do you think your friend might be in love?" His pen pal was a girl around Scotland's age. She backed up her guess with a wealth of details.
At the same time, his pen pal told him about her daily life with two friends from a game, along with some questions that had come up as a result.
"I think they're pursuing you," Scotland said. He had a strong sense of justice and a subtle fondness for his pen pal, so he decided to accompany her when she met her online gaming friends in person.

The cafe they'd agreed to meet at had been suggested by Jing Nai. She was working there as "Amuro" at the moment. She'd arranged to meet there so she could keep an eye on how things developed, but who knew the situation would turn out to be so unexpected?
Whether it was Scotland or Matsuda and Hagiwara, they had all realized they might have a rival, but none of them had imagined that their rival would be each other!
But so what? They looked at one another, each brimming with confidence that victory was theirs.
--I won't lose this three-way contest!
Amuro, in a girl's body, gave a cold laugh and pretended to have shaky hands as she added heaps of sugar cubes to everyone's cups. It was clearly a four-way contest!

Coming Soon: How to Scientifically Win Over the Police Academy Squad
At midnight, the forum was usually quiet. But a new post on the Detective Conan Romance Story game forum was quickly pushed to the top and stayed there, highlighted in red. Countless players kept refreshing the page, eagerly waiting for the original poster to update.
[Hot! Girls, I need help, urgently! I think I've unlocked a hidden quest!]
The attached image showed a familiar game screen, but the quest displayed was something nobody had seen before.
[Raise the affection of character ■■■■ to the maximum and make him fall in love with you to succeed. Complete the hidden achievement: The Woman Who Could Even Win Him Over!]
[If you fail the quest or choose the wrong character to pursue, the quest fails. The penalty is being electrocuted and repeatedly tripping on flat ground.]

At first, the post didn't get much attention. The game was so popular that pranksters were always posting weirdly edited pictures, and everyone was used to it by now.
Then, to prove it was real, the original poster added a clue from the System: a photo of the five members of the Police Academy Squad, showing that the target was one of them.
It was full of holes. Everyone knew only one member of the Police Academy Squad was still alive, so there was no need for the System to censor his name. Besides, the five men in the image looked way too mature. It was probably fan art.
Also, this was just a normal otome game, not a full-dive game. What kind of punishment was electrocution?

The turning point came at midnight, when the developers posted an update announcement.
[One cherry blossom, five petals. Only one member of the Police Academy Squad remains today, and this has always been a regret in Detective Conan Romance Story. In response to player feedback, this update introduces a new rescue route: Players can start from the Police Academy timeline. Will you save your classmates? How many will you save? How will you save them? It's entirely up to you.]
The image showed the clearly older-looking Police Academy Squad meeting at Poirot Cafe.
The announcement sent the players into a frenzy. Some remembered the player who had unlocked a hidden quest the day before. Countless people stayed up all night, flooding the thread and calling for the original poster.

Before the players could get a reply from the original poster, a beautiful new student arrived at the police academy, pushing a suitcase.
On the first day of classes, a new student admitted through special consideration for her outstanding intellect gave a speech onstage, then tripped repeatedly and fell into the arms of the kind, blond, dark-skinned student representative who had come to help her.
The childhood friends, who'd been arguing over some trivial matter, stopped when their classmate gazed at them with tearful eyes.
The Police Academy Squad had gathered to illegally use an appliance to cook hot pot. When the girl's fall made a loud noise, they successfully drew Instructor Onizuka away and managed to escape.
As the squad's expressions grew ever gentler whenever they looked at the newcomer, another player finally found the game's promotional video, which, in a way, filled in the rest of the quest.
[...Players must figure out the exact target themselves. The only clue is a group photo of six people. To make sure the quest succeeds, players can make all the others fall in love with them.]
Beneath the cherry trees, six young men and women smiled brightly.
No one could fail to see the tender affection in the young men's eyes.
Theme: No matter what happens, face it bravely.
