An atypical sweet romance, hopefully grounded in everyday life. A real-world kind of love.
From Kakashi's perspective, this is a love-life nightmare; from Iruka's, it's about meeting the right person for marriage in middle age; from Obito's, it's about being pressured by family to marry, having no interest in love, and then finding a spouse dropped right into his lap.

Iruobi
Umino Iruka x Obito Uchiha
Umino Iruka marries Obito Uchiha, the one his [beep] friend Kakashi Hatake has always cherished.
*
Obito Uchiha, a bachelor well past his prime, is dragged by his clan into one blind date after another. They try everyone in the village, then look outside it. Then, after leaving work early with a Water Style technique, he runs into Umino Iruka at the market. They hit it off, chatting about laundry and cooking, their lives as ninjas, the latest news from the Ninja Academy, and Naruto's studies. Iruka invites Obito out for ramen, and Obito gladly agrees, then returns the favor by treating Iruka to dango.

Kakashi's moods are always up and down, so he doesn't notice that the things belonging to his [beep] friend and his beloved are gradually disappearing from his home.
One afternoon, Kakashi wants to ask Iruka out for a drink, but Obito answers the phone instead. Obito says they're discussing Naruto's studies. Kakashi senses something is off, but doesn't feel comfortable asking for details.
One night, Kakashi wants to invite Obito out for a late-night snack, but Iruka answers the phone. Kakashi hears the loud rush of shower water, and Obito asking, "Who's calling this late?" Iruka says they're discussing some things and can't talk on the phone, then hangs up.
More than half an hour later, Obito calls him back. Kakashi hasn't said much before they start arguing, and he angrily asks, "Are you still discussing Naruto's studies in the middle of the night?"
Obito is furious too. "Of course not!"
Iruka is silent for a moment, then takes the phone. "I'm sorry, Kakashi, but Obito and I are getting married."

Kakashi and Iruka, Kakashi and Obito, Iruka and Obito: a new love triangle pairing, and a down-to-earth romance.

2022/9/29:
In the style of Nian, with my own take on Obito. Monthly or yearly updates, no outline. This story will be updated whenever inspiration strikes.
P.S. The writing style isn't fixed. The anime-manga style may suddenly cross over with the MCU, and characters may speak English in anime fanfiction.
Readers who dislike things like [manly women, mom-like men, genderbending] are advised not to read. These are my fixed preferences, and I won't change them.
P.P.S. Before Iruka and Obito get married, Kakashi, Iruka, and Obito are all single. No one cheats on or lets anyone down, and no one owes anyone anything. They are all mature adult ninjas who take responsibility for themselves.
Theme: A beloved moonlight pairs with a bowl of plain rice; a red rose is adorned with a cinnabar mole. Everyday necessities matter more than romantic fantasies.
It's so wonderful. Maybe Kakashi has really believed in the thirteen-year-old Obito, so he couldn't accept the thirty-one-year-old Obito in the next four stops.
I really like this setting!
I'm also attracted to this decoction mask hahaha
Damn it, when will there be a follow-up to this article? Teacher, please come back and take a look.
Haha, I still want to see the follow-up, it's really great!
