Xiandao couldn’t help reaching out to push open the door, which had been left slightly ajar.
The person inside turned his head. When he saw Xiandao, he froze.
The music came to an abrupt halt.
This was the second time they had met in their lives, and barely half a month had passed since the first.
Yet, for some reason, they felt as if they had lived through countless cycles of life and death over several centuries. They had to look at each other again and again before they could believe that the person before them really was the other.
