Tang Sheng, CEO of the Sheng Tang Technology Group and a tech genius, brought his family back from the brink of ruin by developing new VR gaming technology.
After watching a talent show hosted by a director friend, he came across his destined nemesis: the con artist Lin Qianxia.
Years ago, Qianxia swindled him out of a huge sum of money and nearly ruined his family.
Now the con artist had reinvented herself and was trying to deceive his friend, all in hopes of becoming an internet celebrity and superstar.
How could he stand by and let that happen? Tang Sheng had planned to get his revenge, but the moment he saw Qianxia, he lost his nerve.
You trick me, I trick you back. Neither of us can win.
"This is an agreement for informal contact between a man and a woman." Tang Sheng looked at her scornfully.
"What? Fifty yuan to hold hands, two hundred to kiss?" Qianxia stared at the terms in disbelief. What did he take her for? Was she that kind of woman?
Suddenly, she remembered what her friend had said: "You idiot! This is a great chance to make money. Just choose hand-holding and hold hands from morning till night. Hold hands for twenty hours and you'll make a thousand yuan a day!"
Holding hands wouldn't cost her dignity. She might as well try it. She was short on money, after all.
As they spent time together, Qianxia seemed to recall memories from her past life. Back then, she had been a maid in Prince Su's household... At the most critical moment, a man on a white horse charged into the fire to save her. Who was he?
Yet behind the haze of mystery, a secret company was manipulating their fates.
Theme: Who will come out on top: the heroine, who seems selfish and money-hungry, or the scheming, calculating hero?
